Project Description

The city strategy for shopping streets was a project implemented as part of the European programmeURBACT Boosting Social Innovation. Developed by the Economic Development Office of the City of Wrocław, the strategy required a number of studies, analyses, consultations and fresh ideas. We conducted an analysis of the functionality and consumer experience of the street. We based on the research conducted by Michał Dębek, PhD on the perceived image of Świdnicka Street. We conducted desk research, among other things, of local local spatial management plan to better understand the current situation of the street and possible scenarios for the future. We conducted workshops, public consultations and elements of foresight with entrepreneurs, local community and other people interested in the future of this shopping street.
The results of the research and analysis were presented at the URBACT Transnational Meeting Conference in June 2016.
